St. Mary Magdalene's Anglican Parish provides support to Anglicans in Calvary Wakefield Hospital.
A licensed lay assistant ministers one day a week to people who have registered as members of the Anglican Church on admission. The Sacraments of Holy Communion and anointing are available, prayer for special needs and spiritual and general support.
A priest is available when there is an urgent need, or after hours from St. Mary Magdalene's, St. John's Halifax Street, or Christ Church North Adelaide.
Pastoral Care is provided for all patients by Pastoral Care Assistants employed by the hospital, mostly Roman Catholics. However the presence of lay assistants from all other churches and ministers of other religions is welcomed and supported.
The Hospital is owned by the Little Company of Mary Health Care (Australia), and a member of Calvary Health Care (Adelaide).
